Aims

The Iraqi Journal of Desert Studies (IJDS) is a biannual international journal that accepts research articles, reviews and short communications for content related to desert studies. Research articles and short communications must refer to an original work that has not previously been published in any language and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The main objective of the IJDS is to publish papers that present research findings in the sciences related to desert studies.

Scope

The Iraqi Journal of Desert Studies (IJDS) publishes original research papers, review papers, and short comments. IJDS is an open-access journal. The publication is dedicated to bringing together intellectual and professional scholars. Research articles make an original and essential contribution to the field of study within the journal's scope. These articles should interest a broad audience and should be scientifically sound, well written, and concise. Short comments should report the work done, not the raw results.

Reviews are intended to provide an overview of an issue of great importance or topicality. The editorial board invites comments. However, potential authors can suggest topics to the editor-in-chief. The authors should be experts and have multiple publications on the subject, as well as public sectors that are involved in efforts to understand the sciences related to desert studies in the following areas:
